The Service Plus Program is focused on the promotion of the well-being of our residents who require assistance with activities of daily living. Service Plus includes all elements of Full Service Program, as well as the following:- 24 hour Registered nursing staff
- Assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming
- Assistance with mobilization
- General support, including meal times
- Supervision or administration of medication
- Daily housekeeping and personal laundry
- Available ancillary medical services. These may either be in close proximity or available on a scheduled basis in the residence, and may include: podiatry, basic lab service, physiotherapy, dental service and/or other health care services.
Additional care services, such as physical care and special requirements, are available on a fee-for-service basis. An assessment, completed by qualified registered staff, identifies the amount and type of care required to meet the resident's needs.
As the resident's care needs may fluctuate, monitoring and adjustments are made and fees will change accordingly. The resident may also have the option to contract for additional care through our health care agency, Central Health Services.
The Short Stay Program at Lifestyle Retirement Communities is focused on a range of accommodations and services offered on a short-term basis. These services are provided in a safe, secure and gracious retirement setting, in fully furnished suites with telephone and cable service, and are designed to meet individual needs. The Short Stay Program serves many purposes which may include:- Temporary relief for family caregivers
- Convalescence for those recovering from
recent illness or injury - A trial period for those making the decision to move to a retirement residence
