10th Anniversary
Stittsville Retirement Community, Stittsville, Ontario
On Saturday, October 21, 2006, residents, family, guests and staff celebrated the 10th Anniversary of Stittsville Retirement Community. The Anniversary party had an Autumn theme and the décor was reflective of the lovely fall colours. Guests enjoyed wonderful music, fantastic food and enthusiastic dancing. Ottawa Goulbourn City Councillor, Janet Stavinga, presented a plaque of congratulations from the City of Ottawa. There was an ice sculpture of a “10” in the foyer and a champagne fountain added sparkle to the party. To end the celebration, an anniversary cake with sparklers of a 10 were lit and all in attendance sang a hearty, Happy Anniversary song. We are so proud of our staff for the extra work they put into making this day so special!
