Under the Sea Casino Night

The Under The Sea Casino caught the attention of residents and staff
alike... Residents came by swarms and were delighted to see the staff in
costume.... Pirates, Mates, Mermaids, Mermen hosting and serving beverages like
'Mer-Tinis' from the "Wet Bar" and snacks from the SeaFood Buffet...
Treasure
chests contained the "bounty" that was then given out as prizes. The residents
used Dorchester Dollars and had a great time at the Black Jack tables, the
Crown and Anchor Wheel and other gaming tables. The lounges were draped with lots of blue and green crepe paper making the
walls look like water and the fish were floating and flying everywhere. Our
guest of honor was Pirate Brian Given who when not in the pirate hat is a City
Councilor and also Head of the CNIB so donations collected for the Dorchester
Dollars were directed to the CNIB... $500 in total.
