You are a Treasure

On Saturday June 23rd Holyrood Manor hosted a pirate themed event for our residents, families, volunteers and staff. We coined our event "You are a Treasure" for our lovely residents, volunteers and families.
The whole home got involved as residents prepared a huge banner and painted treasure chests filled with coins to give to our volunteers as gifts. Staff and residents helped decorate the building in pirate style. Entertainment included a video presentation showcasing our residents enjoying the many programs our home has to offer as well as some local line dancers in the morning.
Our staff also got involved by dressing up as pirates for the day and an excellent BBQ lunch was served to all prepared by our Director of Support Services. The day's events all culminated in the Maple Ridge Concert band entertaining our residents with a full brass band!
