Sunday, June 3 was a special day at Retirement Residences Group.
Our properties across the country joined forces and held special events to recognize June as Seniors Month in Canada.
The focus of our events was “Celebrating Seniors” – their accomplishments past, present and future!
Our residences came up with their own creative events to celebrate this special day. Events included: Fabulous Flapjack Breakfast, Vintage Car Show, Roarin’ 20’s, Active Living Awards, Fun in the Sun, Rhythm by the River, just to name a few. Part of the initiative was to give back to our communities, and this was met by fundraising for the Arthritis Society – Joints in Motion. We are pleased to announce that over $12,000.00 was raised in one day!
