Remembrance Day
Appleby Place, Burlington, ON
A Remembrance Day ceremony was held at Appleby Place to honour our 19 veterans.
Piper Bill McPhail piped the veterans into the ceremony.
The Appleby resident choir performed a selection of hymns including Amazing Grace and captured the solemn and serene mood of the ceremony.
Veterans displayed some of their treasured items from years gone by.
The ceremony was well-attended by residents, guests and staff, all sharing their deepest respect.
